The Jones
County Democratic Party will hold their 2007 county-wide Off-Year Caucus on Monday March 26 at 7 PM at the Lawrence Community
Center in Anamosa. The purpose of the off-year caucus is to discuss issues, fill precinct committee vacancies and to
discuss details of the 2008 Caucus including precinct locations, precinct chairs and a time
line leading up to the Caucus.
Registration
will open at 6:00 PM and refreshments will be served.
Caucus rules require that all participants be Jones County
residents registered to vote as Democrats. If not already registered to vote, any Jones County resident 17 1/2 years
of age or older and otherwise eligible to vote may register at the caucus. It is expected that representatives of some
of the presidential candidates will be in attendance
